Outsourcing Abuse Liability Testing

I’m looking for input regarding the outsourcing of abuse liability testing.  I’m curious as to which models are being used and which contract organizations have offerings and experience in this area.

    You may contact Porsolt & Partners company which is a CRO specialised in safety pharmacology and I believe they have models to assess drug abuse liability.

    FYI CERB is also a CRO specialised in safety pharmacology and we have such models available .

    MPI Research conducts all three assays: dependence liability, drug discrimination and self-administration studies in both rats and monkeys fully GLP compliant.  Equipment, protocols, SOPs, and method validations are fully GLP compliant.

    Porsolt can also run these but they are not GLP compliant. The behavioral studies are usually outsourced to Dr. Charles France at UT in the USA.
